Time flies - that is truly an understatement.

My last entry was 2 weeks back, the day before college started. After which I so happen to erase the memory that this blog even existed. One of the many things college does to you :( Yet, so much has happened since classes started. Too much. Some good, some bad.

1. Celebrated at least 4 birthday surprises in 2 weeks.

2. Had a good TDC heart-to-heart party

3. Went back to my sleeping in class habit

4. Performed for ECA recruitment drive

5. Went to iCity

6. Had too much of drinks

7. Got straight, but low a's for AS level (it's so low, it doesn't feel that victorious anymore)

8. Carried a baby for the first time ever.

9. See my 2nd brother home for the first time in years

10. Watch Underworld on the day of release with 14 others, with tickets 30mins before (only possible in MBO)

A lot more must've happened because I can't recall much. But I guess so much has happened that I neglect the people I should be spending time with most - my family. So this Chinese New Year week, I'm gonna try and spend more time out of my room and in the living hall.

A club like no other. Can't wait to see all the Fresh members in AGM sooonz!

I've never really been into YouTube until maybe 8 months back or so when I started watching a fair amount of dance videos by Kyle Hanagami and slowly moving on to other dance videos. But yet I was never open minded to watching MV's or kevjumba or ryanhiga of that sort.

Until I watched WongFu about 2 weeks back. I'm hooked!! It's all I ever do nowadays when I'm bored. My favourite ones to watch are their WongFu Weekends. ^^ 3-5 videos everyday, on my bed, before I sleep. Plus all the other free time that I spend watching? I'm gonna run out of videos soon!

If you haven't noticed, my friends and I have been circling the link to a video we made around facebook and twitter. It's about a boy and his....

Just watch it.

We started making videos a few months back because we always have outings and not everyone's able to make it, especially birthday surprises. So we took videos and posted them online to fill the rest in on what they missed out on. And it just went on and on.

A little before Christmas we met up a lot and started talking about making a real video, with a story line, proper editing and actors. Surprisingly it was all done pretty fast. Within 2 nights we were done plotting and by the 8th day, we were done filming. Our editors really worked hard to meet the deadline (NYE midnight) and well, we did not finish in time.

Posted it the next day and I was counting on a 500 viewers but so far it's been going close to 700. I guess we're hoping for a 1000 now so do watch it, share it, laugh about how fake the accident scene it. Because it is pretty fake and funny.

Who knew time would fly this fast and I only have 6 months left of college? Life goes in stages in my point of view. You spend your first 3 years at home, go to kindergarten for the next 3, get scolded for 6 years in primary school, become rebellious for the next 5 years in high school, get drunk in college, set your books on fire in university, get stuck in the jam coming home from work, and die peacefully when you retire.

So, I'm halfway there. :)

I spent my new year's eve in KL at Changkat with close friends who are dear to me. Spent the next few days being shocked by the surprising visit from one of my best friends from Australia, and watching the premiere of our new video. If you haven't watched it you're really doomed I must say. Had one of the best moments when I first put on my TDC (Taylor's Dance Club) jacket.

I know I say this everyday, sometimes multiple times a day. But again, my life is complete. :)

TDC class of 2011

Christmas this year is going by pretty nicely. Ian is back from the states so he hosted yet another great party. Great company, funny people, a huge christmas tree and bottles and bottles of drinks. Enough to make it historical and an inside joke for years to come. :)

Spent my midnight with Nicole, JiaXin, Sheng, Alex, Mark, Nick and Treston, in my garden playing cards. Somehow it was enough for me to be in a house chilling rather than going out and face havoc. Even sharing ghost stories until 3am seemed like a better idea.

So Merry Christmas everybody! Hope you managed to spend it well :)

Bought beautiful accessories from Sheabelle and she included a little card and a leather phone strap. I'm so pleased by Christine's act of kindness! I love blogshop owners who actually makes you feel like they are pay attention to what you're saying. Sadly there are only a handful of them. =/

And she didn't even ask me to say this but you should really, really head on to Sheabelle because they have pretty delicate accessories that suits my taste perfectly :)

Monsterball 2011

Attended my first Halloween party last Friday. Wasn't exactly a great party but I still had fun performing for a small crowd. The best part of the night was making the decision to head down to the empty cafeteria and play Saboteur with the people I see almost everyday :)

Having a 1 month semester break and my college besties are off to their hometowns. Kinda bored being stuck in a city. Which can only mean time to hunt for new inspirations. I'm THAT fickle minded.

This is gonna sound as insane as calling Michael Jackson's nose falling off, but I finally got my first full length mirror in the house! Being a girl I'm not sure how I survived without it. Maybe I couldn't. That's why I got one :D

At least now I can concentrate on foot work when running through dance steps. No more upper-body-only reflections!

Feeling bored at midnight so I stuck on some false lashes (for fun) and used the worse camera I could find - the webcam - to camwhore so no one can see my break outs! They are really bad especially when I tried to squeeze out my black heads. I'm never good at doing that :(

I have this insane ability to sleep with my false lashes, wake up, wash my face and go on with my day with them still on. They WON'T fall off. Not unless I use an oil-base make up remover. Guess I'll be going to college with extra long plastic lashes tomorrow! Let's hope we don't do microscopy work for Biology. That would be a problem. :/

Can't live without shawls lately simply because it adds something peaceful and soft to a whole outfit when worn around the shoulders. And it comes in handy when studying in college because it's freezing there! I end up depending less and less on hoodies :)

Just got the news today that Monsterball, a very belated halloween/post-exam party just got postponed to next Friday. Kinda disappointed in a way because I was excited to perform. (finally got myself back into dancing after a 3 month break!) Though now I'm actually thinking of putting some effort into dressing up and going as something.

Any ideas? :)

I wish we could wear something like this in Malaysia without being judged.

Inspiration

After a long month of exhaustion, physically but mostly mentally, I'm glad I pulled through. I guess Blogger will always be my home when it comes to blogging. And this time around I was hugely inspired by the simplicity of blogs.

So I deleted my old blog.

Another one of those attempts to start fresh, and keep the freshness going. Hopefully this time my efforts will pay off and this will last a little longer and actually look somewhat pleasing for you, me, and the future.
